Firstly, establish a mold file and prepare accordingly

(2) As a mold manager, after the mold enters the factory, the structural components of each part of the mold must be recorded in detail in the mold file, and the vulnerable parts inside the mold must be listed according to needs. Accessories such as top rods, cores, etc. should be prepared in advance to set a minimum inventory of vulnerable spare parts, so as not to delay production due to insufficient preparation. Because there are many lessons like this in the company, being prepared is the key to being safe. If production is delayed due to the lack of spare parts, the cost incurred by the die-casting enterprise is significant, including time, manpower, insulation furnace electricity (or liquefied gas), etc. The main reason is that production is delayed and delivery losses are even greater!
(3) It is necessary to engrave permanent marks on the mold itself for easy identification while making a record card for the mold. In this way, anyone who is not foolish will not cause the farce of installing the wrong mold.
(4) If there is a mold with an oil cylinder core extractor attached, equip it with a quick change connector as soon as possible, otherwise the money wasted by the oil leaking from the oil cylinder every time the mold is disassembled will be enough to pay several employees a month's salary. You can also use the saved money to improve the food for employees. This also greatly shortens the time for die-casting operators to load and unload molds, achieving multiple goals in one fell swoop. Remember to buy some high-quality quick connectors, otherwise it will backfire.
(5) Develop mold management regulations in advance, provide systematic training to employees, and effectively implement them.
